  McElhenney is also part of the Tyler-Portis group – alongside fellow household names such as Eva Longoria, Kate Upton and Mesut Ozil – that has acquired stakes in Mexican side Necaxa and Colombian outfit La Equidad.

  WHAT ROB MCELHENNEY SAID

  He has, however, told when asked if he could look at acquiring an American football team at some stage in the future: “I would love to be able to afford a team in the National Football League, but I don’t think that is going to be possible any time soon.”
